The first painting in my series called "It Figures", this one is titled "She runs hot and cold". The series is a study of painting only the extreme highlights and shadows of figures in bright colors. There are 3 more in this series.

My path has been different than the long-established academic approach in art. I’m a self-taught Artist, Photographer and Poet. I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember. I’ve been largely influenced by Abstract, Figurative and Expressionism. It’s always been my mission to express my emotions and passions for life through the art that I create. This is the reason I feel my work is authentic to me and my style of creating. Using many techniques and learning to push the boundaries of both the mediums I use and my skills as they continue to develop, I create using my intuition.
